The next time that Wilbur and Orville were to appear was in 2013 when I was working on a behind the scenes look at my SHERIFF ROY ADVENTURES.
...And that is exactly what I did for my WRIGHT STUFF NEWS HOUR. It is the same 8 clipped images, but now in an entirely new setting.
This is what the news room originally looked like, though there were actually some video screen panels that I removed from the image. In Photoshop I can put my own images in those openings. I also copied the newscasters' desk onto a separate layer so that I would be able to put the Wright Brothers behind it. The Wright Stuff logo was created in illustrator. A blue background was added to the center of the desk and the logo placed on top of it. A shadow was then added at the top of the image to create the effect of the overhanging desk. The logo was also added to the back wall, but due to a piece of glass in the newsroom behind Wilbur, the left and right sides of the logo had to be treated differently so the logo would look like it was behind the glass.
The "guest" stars all got the same treatment as the news crew. There are open and closed mouth versions of each. The same procress was used on each.
It has been a fun project and one that I will probably continue as "amusing" bits of news come our way. The whole Wayne/Stark narrative was contrived to fit into my Marvell/DC piece that I am working on. Lord only knows when that will ever be ready for posting, but I am going to try to make it fairly cool. I guess the only political thing that I will say (outside of my newsroom) is that this election cycle beats anything I have seen in my 59 years and I must confess that I am little worried about where all this is taking us. Most of all, I am a little bit embarrassed for our nation. The rest of the world is watching all of this and probably shaking their heads.
