GERMAN

member for a very good price and it is one of my favorite piece in my collection. The pictures above show how the Field Kitchen display is currently set up in my Joe Room. The pictures below are from a couple of years ago and show the setup on display at a club meeting as well as a few detail shots of items I made to go with the display. - PM
Below is the setup that I did at the club meeting. beside the wagon, there are two tables that were created from styrene. One of the tables in a preparation table and includes a stool for the cook. The other table is a serving table.

The potatoes, radishes, and carrots were all made with Sculptey, fired in the oven and then painted. The bread came from various Dragon sets. The tools you see were made from scratch or adapted from weapons. The potato masher is actually sanded stick grenade.
Below are some of the items that I made for my display. This box reprents the box used to store the cooks scale. The Germans were very precise about making sure everything was measured correctly. The box was created out of styrene.
This little can was made to represent a Kerosene container. It was made from styrene as well and has a brass wire handle.
The Cooks typically had a step stool so that they didn't have an awkward angle when working on stew, soup, etc. Remember most people were a little shorter back in the 1940s. This was also made from sheet styrene.
Some of my home made tools, created out of wood and styrene (with the exception of the ones that were obviously bashed from combat knives). There's a better look at that potato masher. The boxes in the picture were all created on the computer.
I forget what it was that these boxes held. The label was created on the computer and the boxes were made from bass wood.
The cutting board was made to look like one I saw in the reference pictures and is made up of bass wood strips, laminated with glue and painted with a stain.
I wanted to have a lot of personal items that could be strewn about the scene and these are the ones that I made. All the art was done on the computer.
